What I love most about this book is that it describes the parental view, and then the child’s view. In this way the reader can gain a good insight into why their child is reacting to a certain circumstance, as well as the author giving the child a voice. Personally, I would have preferred a more practical book with more coping mechanisms and techniques for carers but it does mean the book is accessible for all – regardless of their parenting style.
