A baby board book with a storyline, so a great introduction to books beyond those with touch pages. Perfect for those who want a book from yesteryear, the illustrations are so beautiful and artistic in nature, it’s nice to have something that isn’t formed of bold and bright colours.
The first two pages rhyme, which had me hooked; then moved around locations in the house to the surprise of the storyline; before the final page which seemed a bit unnecessary.
It’s a lovely sweet book, free from sensory overloading pages. A gentle read but not one I would rush to buy. That said, it made me feel nostalgic and for that reason I would recommend you find this in your local library.
There are currently 29 copies of Fur available in the Surrey Libraries network, so you’re bound to find one locally to you!
