A fun book filled with crochet patterns for amazing little (mainly) nature inspired items form ladybirds to mushrooms, granny squares to roses. Oh and don’t forget seaweed! If you’re a teacher, parent or nature-lover you’ll find something in this book for you.

Be warned, this is not a book for beginners. To the rear of the book are some pointers on crochet techniques, but as a novice I couldn’t make heads nor tails of it.

There are currently 5 copies available in the Surrey Libraries network to borrow. If you’re tempted to buy it as a gift (it would make a lovely present) just be aware that the patterns in the book have previously been published in: 100 flowers to knit and crochet; 75 birders, butterflies and beautiful beasties; 75 shells, corals and sea creatures to knit; 50 sunflowers to knit, crochet and felt; 75 crocheted floral blocks.
