If it’s a rainy day and you can’t use the internet then this book might be for you. It has 150 activities to do with the children, from planting to making dens, leaf rubbing to singing nursery rhymes.

For most of us though, these will be all familiar activities and not many worthy of sharing. Perhaps new parents may find this a nice, gentle guide to things they can do with the kids whilst reminding themselves of some of the things they did when they were little.

There are currently 8 copies of this book available in the Surrey Libraries Network. Definitely a book to borrow from the library, and not one to buy – sorry Myleene.
